Aids and appliances
(i)persons with disabilities are eligible for assistive devices under ADIP (Govt. of India) schemes. Only those aids and appliances which do not cost less than Rs. 50/- or more than Rs. 6000/- are covered under the scheme. However, for visually, mentally, speech and hearing or multiple disabled, the upper limit would be Rs. 8000/- during their study.
(ii)Persons with disabilities are also provided with different prosthetic aids free of cost by the state government.
